SEPTEMBER 12 "DON'T BE A CHICKEN!"

Why did the chicken cross the road? Cause he couldn’t fly...
Ever wonder why chickens can’t really fly... Ever wonder why you never look up in the sky and say, ‘look; up in the sky... It’s a plane... No... It’s a chicken!’ Chicken coops can be built without much thought... No need even for a roof... In fact, roofs aren’t typically built to keep them from getting out... But to keep the rain off of them. Chickens can’t really fly because they were bred to stay in the ground... Humans modified a species called the red jungle fowl - they already were primarily designed to feed and forage on the ground; but they could fly up a tree to escape a predator... However, humans got ahold of them and created a hybrid that they could make them bulkier and stronger... They wanted it to have a huge breast muscle... So it would stay on the ground - that’s why chicken taste so good... A lot of muscle... But their wings are too small to handle their weight to allow them much endurance to fly...
And because they like the enjoyment of the food and the shelter and the strong- man-rooster hanging around, they are easily domesticated- because everything they get, someone else gives to them! So they stay in their coop, and never venture out beyond the familiar- or beyond the comfortable...
The evolution of the chicken - is a byproduct of human interference - chickens have been bred for 2 purposes... To lay eggs - and to be consumed!

We (humans) are a genetic hybrid as well. Our RedJungle Fowl is Adam of course and the day he sinned, we were genetically modified, a hybrid so to speak of what we were. No longer able to fly, but to be held captive to the ground and to be consumed, by sin.
