SEPTEMBER 5 "MISGUIDED, CHRISTIAN SENTIMENT"

   This past month would have marked the 39th birthday of Keith Broomfield, from Westminister, MA.


He Was born August 1979 and died June 2015

Keith was a newly converted Christian, 36 years old, a civilian, with no military experience who felt moved to move to go to Syria and help the Syria/Iraqi Christians being persecuted in Syria by Kurdish Rebels, with no military training.

On June 3, 2015 he was killed during a skirmish with Rebel fighters near Kobani, a city in northern Syria.

Broomfield felt “led by the Lord” to enter the fight despite his lack of military training, his father told CBS.

“He turned his life over to the Lord and he decided this was God's will and God wanted him to do it," his mother told NBC.

“I’m here to do what I can,” Broomfield said in an earlier video. “With everything that’s been going on, it seems like the right thing to do.”
