AUGUST 26 "WHEN A DAY BECAME A DAY"

  Genesis 1:3-5 

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. 

      All the angels whoooed and marveled at the change in lighting or better yet , no lighting, that they had never experienced before, being in their celestial surroundings…..

 "Did you see that?”, said Michael, the great Arch Angel  

“absence of light”, replied the other angel.

 “It’s called night”,  Michael responded

Then magnificent stars lit up the night, along with a reflection of the brightest star, the sun, caused what looked like another planet to glow and light up the earth.

 “Whats that bright star?” the angel asked the Arch Angel?”

 “We will call it The Sun, per our Lord and the planet to which it is reflecting its light, we will call, The Moon. 

“Yes it’s the moon, but don’t be fooled little angel, the moon has no light, it is the sun that is reflecting its light off of the moon to provide a subtle light to the earth to get them thru the darkness or what we will call, the night time.”

This went on for approx 8 hours, but to the angels there was no sense of time or concept of time. Later the brightest star seemed to come back and the moon began to fade, the stars seemed to disappear and the sun took over the darkness and it was bright light again. 

The junior angel asked Michael, “what just happened, what was all that for?”

That, Michael answered, “that is what we are going to call  “a day” from now on!”

 “Wow, that’s alot of trouble our Lord has gone through, why all that trouble to make a ……a what?

“"a day” Michael retorted

 “why?”, asked the junior angel.

 “So that God can renew his mercies for them each morning”

 “Who is them?”, asked the angel

Michael anxious to answer said, “Them”, will be His most magnificent creation ever, "man", formed in His own image He will make him. It will take his creation, man,  24 hrs to cycle through, it will give them time to work and play, then time to rejuvenate and then start fresh each day.

     And why? Our Lord says, so that each day, they will be able to receive with it, a fresh portion of mercy and grace.”

The only reason Michael the Arch Angel was abel to answer the junior angels questions is because, little did the other angel realize, that Michael had done his own question & answer period with the Lord, himself, earlier…

 "Whats that Lord,  that you've done?", asked Michael

 “I've just created a day! Said The Lord.

"What's a day?", asked Michael.

"What's a day, that's a good question Michael; how do I put this........
a day is a bite size portion of a humans existence.”

 “"Existence?”, asked Michael

”Yes”, said the Lord, they are mortal beings, for now, their days are numbered and the day, will help them process life! Instead of just being thrown 701,000 hours of time, to live out, I’ve divided it out into 24 hour bite size moments to help them, but most important, is to give them a fresh start every day! That is a day, Michael, now let the other angels know‼

    But most of all Michael, I task you to get Jeremiah, my prophet to pen these words, in my eternal word. Now write this down!
 “It is because of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning!”

 “Every…what?” asked Michael?

 “"Every morning Michael, or every day, as you have it. Got it ?”

 “Yes lord, but just one more question, who is Jeremiah?” asked Michael

 “"Nevermind Michael, I AM, getting ahead of myself…”

 

Lamentations 3:22-23 

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion's never fail. They are new every morning.
