AUGUST 1 "OPPORTUNITY FOR GOOD, AFTER BAD"

A LITTLE BASEBALL TRIVIA:

Who was the one ballplayer set the major league record for strikeouts with 1316.

He is the same player who set a record for five consecutive strikeouts in a World Series game.

The holder of both records was the great slugger Babe Ruth.

Babe Ruth holds the all-time record for extra-base hits with the 119 he hit in 1921

He also holds the record for the most total bases in a single season with 457.
That record stills stands and the player closest to it since 1950 is Sammy Sosa who had 425 total bases in 2001.

The lesson is clear....in life, we can be that person who holds both records.
The records for the worse and also the records for best!

That’s Grace and that’s opportunity.  That's how God meant it to be!
